Welcome to the Saint Peter’s church family. We hope you will join us in this Christian community, which is modeled after Jesus’ commandment: "Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength; and love your neighbor as yourself.”
You are loved. You are enough. You are not alone. If you need prayer, submit a prayer request here, and we'll hold you and your loved ones in our hearts.
You're welcome to be yourself among us. We value diversity of thought and experience. We hope you have questions about faith. We have them, too! God helps us to work together through the questions and grow in faith and love.
In this season of Epiphany we celebrate that God, in Jesus–born of Mary, adored by shepherds, worshiped by wise men, baptized by John–is with us.
"None of us does our seeking perfectly—least of all these wise men. But for all of their bumbling, the story of the wise men is about a longing for God that cannot be quelled … The story of the wise men is a story of pilgrimage. It is about being willing to leave that which is familiar in order to arrive at our deeper spiritual home. It is about seeking something we don’t fully understand until we stumble upon it where we least expect it and coming home changed." —Ruth Haley Barton
Among the gifts we bring to God are community outreach programs. Read about them, including our Christmas gifts for local children and youth, on our news page. You can support these programs by donating online to our church or contacting the church office to learn how to volunteer.
Please donate to help Wilson Area Food Pantry create supplemental bags of food for larger families. Especially needed are peanut butter, tuna, fruit, vegetables, pasta, and pasta sauce. Come to church with a can in your hand or a jar in your purse or a box in your pocket!
Know before you go. At Saint Peter's, we care about our community. We continue to follow best practices for ventilation and filtration in our sanctuary and encourage you to keep up to date with your Covid shots. Please check Berks County's Covid status before visiting us and follow these guidelines.
Green and Yellow: If you were exposed to Covid in the last 10 days, please wear a high-quality mask in our building. If you have suspected or confirmed Covid, please worship online. If you’re at high risk for getting very sick, contact your health care provider about preventive measures you should take.
Orange: We ask that everyone wear a mask in our building. If you have suspected or confirmed Covid, please worship online. If you’re at high risk for getting very sick, consider worshiping online until our community’s Covid level is lower.
