Our congregation took time during a worship service in September of 2022 to look at who we have been and who we are now. We spoke of glories of the past—times when we and other churches were bursting at the seams, times we met in fellowship for holiday, worship, fundraising, and service projects, our Early Learning Center, the expansion of our sanctuary, and the building of the pavilion. We listed many outreach efforts, which are passion projects for individuals or very small groups, and that hints to our committee Saint Peter’s might be poised to enter a phase of ministry that serves our neighbors while simultaneously giving us a chance to gather in work, love, and service.
